METAVORTEX considers all types of spaces related to architecture as having equal value and we believe space design has no borders. Taking computer technology to the maximum, we try to propose a new kind of space design, which not only influences the environment but also creates new lifestyles, and aims to generate new vortexes of design.
METAVORTEX is located in Tokyo, and we are currently engaged in research, consulting, renovation, and space design related to architecture like urban design, building design, interiors, and landscape design.

NORIO WATANABE, Principal of METAVORTEX, CV

NORIO WATANABE graduated from Waseda University master program in Japan. He had worked for Yamashita Sekkei inc. as a chief of design office. Then he moved to Los Angeles and also graduated from SCI-ARC's post-graduate program. He worked for Coop Himmelb(l)au in Los Angeles as an architectural designer on several projects like a high school for the visual and performing arts, a museum, and a hotel-office complex with housing. In 2005 he founded METAVORTEX.
